I provide both individual and couples/ family counseling from a humanistic, client-centered prospective with a focus on empowerment and self-efficacy. This includes increasing awareness, focusing on one’s strengths, maximizing one’s experience, and promoting healthy self-growth. Areas of special interests include but are not limited to: working with mental health disorders, human sexuality issues, LGBTQ counseling, relationship dynamics, gender role issues, feminist psychology, identity formation, grief/ loss issues, anxiety issues, depression management, weight issues, and quality of life issues.
I provide counseling for individuals 18 years of age and older.
I provide couples counseling to any individuals who define themselves as coupled. I have done extensive work with both heterosexual and LGBTQ couples.
